MeetTheNeighbors organizing Katrina Victims - Get in touch with your neighbors!
08/30/2005
Hello!

MeetTheNeighbors.org is launching an endeavor to help organize the victims of hurricane Katrina all over the gulf coast.

Right now, you can get in touch with your neighbors and keep up to date with each other, share crucial information about the conditions of your homes and towns along the coast, and coordinate your efforts to repair and rebuild that which was destroyed.

Your building or neighborhood has its own Message Board where you can share valuable information and carry on public conversations about repair efforts.  You can use the Events section to organize jobs and meetings, and keep track of who is attending.  Post pertinent information in the Useful Info section regarding who to contact for local aid and relief efforts.  You can also get in touch with people who live within a radius of up to 5 miles from you in the Neighbors section.  Check in with them and see what they are up to!

Entire buildings are under water.  Windows blown off the sides of whole buildings.  The destruction is immense.  MeetTheNeighbors enourages all of our members to donate to disaster relief organizations, such as the Red Cross.  But now is the time to rely on one another. And MeetTheNeighbors.org is ready to help you do that.  Login now!  MeetTheNeighbors is FREE.

We're here to help you if need be.  Please email me if you have any questions regarding the Katrina Victims relief efforts...

Warm regards,
